Norwex Lip Balm
- Velvety Smoothness. I’m NOT being dramatic here. I can’t even describe to you the ‘smoothness-level’ of these. They seriously feel like none other. It’s like liquid satin, girl. I’m in absolute love!
- Light fragrance. I’m not a big synthetic fragrance girl. I don’t like things to have an overpowering scent. And all three of these scents are very subtle, delicious smelling, and natural!
- Three fun scents to choose from: Orange Vanilla, Black Raspberry, Pineapple Coconut.
- PHAT. These lip balms are legit P-H-A-T. I love how wide they are! They are wider in circumference than any lip balm I’ve ever used. They cover every millimetre of my juicy lips! Check out the size comparison:
- Clean and Green. These lip balms are free from so many items I like to keep away from my skin. Things like:
- Parabens
- Petrolatum
- Aluminum
- Mineral oil
- Synthetic fragrances and dyes
- Gluten Free. If you can’t have contact with gluten, you’re in luck with these!
Ingredients
Sunflower Seed Oil, Castor Seed Oil, Beeswax and Shea Butter are the feature ingredients in these lip balms that make them so velvety smooth. And here’s what tops all of these awesome features off: these balms are also USDA Certified Organic!
Why USDA Organic Certification Matters
This certification ensures ingredients are 95% or more free from: Synthetic additives, pesticides, chemical fertilizers. As well, no industrial solvents, irradiation or genetic engineering is used in ingredient processing. These lip balms are skin care products that you can feel comfortable incorporating into your everyday routine!
What’s not to love:
Ummmm. I can’t think of any for this one. The only thing I’m not a fan of with these is that the twist is at the top of the tube, not the bottom. I’ve never used a lip balm or lipstick that was packaged like that. I was crazy confused when I first got mine. If you were there, it would have been entertaining. But realistically, once you figure it out, you’re fine. And, if you wanted to share with a friend, it’s fun to watch them figure out how to use it! ?
Now, for the Norwex Body Balm
The Norwex Body Balm is also a USDA Certified Organic product. It’s cool because it is GIANT. It’s basically a giant sized lip balm container, but for your body. And yes, it’s kind of hilarious. Instead of twisting the balm up, you push the balm up from the bottom, and rub it on like a deodorant stick.
Here’s what I’m loving about the Body Balm:
- Fresh scent. This first thing that hits you when you remove the lid is the fresh spearmint scent. It’s a bit of a surprise, because it’s not what you expect from a body moisturizer, right? But that spearmint scent it gives you all the spa-feels. And I LOVE it it. It actually is invigorating. Who knew that moisturizing your cracked elbows and dried up knees could be invigorating?! It also contains hints of citrus too. So yeah, just freshness all around!
- Non-Greasy and thick. This is not a typical body moisturizer, which I always find too greasy. I like that it’s a solid thing that you rub on your body, and not a thin moisturizer that gets all gloopy all over your body.
- Versatile. You can use this balm on so many places! Places like: rough elbows, backs of hands, cuticles, cracked heels, dry legs, dry skin around nose (from nose blowing). I’ve heard of people using it to tame their flyaway hairs. I’ve even heard of customers liking it for relief from their eczema and psoriasis.
- Packable. This is not too big, so it’s easy to toss into your gym bag or purse and take with you!
- Green and Clean too! This product is also free from:
- Parabens
- Petrolatum
- Mineral oil
- Synthetic fragrances and dyes
- Gluten
So, what’s not to love:
If you’re looking for an all over body moisturizer, you’ll find the Body Balm too awkward for that. It’s best for targeting specific areas. Also, toddlers may destroy it. Here’s what I mean by that: Have you ever have a kid turn your lipstick all the way up, and then the lipstick falls right off the base? Yeah, toddlers will want to push this balm all the way to the top, and then your balm will be fully exposed to be pushed off the base. So, make sure you keep it up high! ?
You Want These
To summarize: you want these. Both the Lip Balms and Body Balms smell a natural-fantastic, feel good on your skin, and are clean and ‘green.’ You’ll be as happy with them as I have been! I rate both of them 5 out of 5 stars.
Now, I’m off to moisturize!

As you said not all lip balms are created equal. I will never use Norwex lip balm again. My lips ended up being dried out, cracked, peeling and discoloured. Whatever other ingredients that you didn’t list above did not agree with my lips whatsover. I have gone back to using the one i was using before with no problems. It actually got my lips back tot he way they were before I started using the Norwex lip balm.
Not everything organic is good for users.
Sorry to hear that you didn’t like your Norwex lip balm! While this hasn’t been my experience with the Norwex lip balms, I’m happy that you have a lip balm that is working for you!
I googled the new Norwex lip gloss as I was getting very frustrated trying to figure out how to roll it up! Thank you for your review… I would have never thought to twist it from the top! And you were right about how silky it goes on too! Counting on loving it as much as I do all of my Norwex products!
Fabulous! Norwex likes to keep us on our toes 😉
