Norwex is a direct sales company focused on reducing chemicals in homes through microfiber technology and safer cleaning solutions.
The mission centers on helping families create cleaner, safer environments using products designed to reduce reliance on harsh chemicals and single-use waste.
As a Norwex Consultant, you can:
- Earn commission on product sales
- Share products through events or online
- Build a team (optional)
- Work part-time or full-time
- Or simply join for the discount
There is no required inventory purchase and no guaranteed income. Earnings are commission-based.
How the Norwex Consultant Model Works
Norwex operates under a direct sales model. Consultants earn commission on personal retail sales and may also earn additional compensation if they choose to build a team.
You are not an employee. You operate as an independent contractor.
There are no guaranteed earnings. Income depends on:
- Time invested
- Customer base
- Sales activity
- Consistency
- Leadership (if building a team)
Some Consultants treat it as:
- A discount membership
- A side income
- A full-time business
All three approaches are valid.
How Consultants Get Paid
Norwex Consultants earn 35% commission on personal retail sales.
Example:
- $500 in personal sales = $175 commission
- $1,000 in personal sales = $350 commission
- $2,000 in personal sales = $700 commission
(Commission calculated before business expenses.)
There are no income guarantees. Some Consultants earn modest supplemental income. Others build large teams and earn more. Results vary significantly.
It is important to understand that this is performance-based income, not salary.
Starter Kit Options (Overview)
Norwex offers three primary starter kit options:
Standard Starter Kit
- No upfront product cost (shipping applies)
- If $1,500 in personal retail sales is submitted within 45 days, the kit remains free
- If not, $200 plus tax is charged on day 46
Safe Haven 5+ Starter Kit
- $149 plus tax and shipping
- Includes a larger product bundle
- No sales requirement

- $30 plus tax and shipping
- Designed for minimal upfront investment
- No sales requirement

What Happens If You Choose the Standard Kit?
If you enroll with the Standard Starter Kit:
- You must submit $1,500 in personal retail sales within 45 days for the kit to remain free.
- If that threshold is not met, $200 plus applicable tax is billed on day 46.
This is not a penalty — it is simply the deferred cost of the kit.
The purchase of a starter kit does not count toward personal retail sales.
Understanding this clearly prevents surprises.

- You earn commission on your sales
