Is 2024 the year to transform your bathroom from gross to gleaming?
It’s the time of year when we set vision for the next year, but have you set a vision for your home? Your bathroom is especially a place that can be relaxing when you’ve put in the effort. Why settle for less when your bathroom could be a place to recharge? It’s time to transform your bathroom!
Imagine taking a bubble bath and not staring at the mold in the caulking….
Imagine taking a shower without wondering how to get the hard water build up off the door….
Imagine putting your makeup on in a mirror clear of toothpaste splatter….
With just a few changes to your cleaning routines, you could transform your bathroom into a spa-like experience, all without harmful chemicals or wasteful, single use paper products. I’d love to show your how!
Deep clean
The first place to start is with a deep clean. This means tackling projects that would usually lie outside of your normal cleaning routine. The first place to start is with hard water build up. Between soap scum and hard water build up, the tub and shower start to have a coating that regular cleaners can’t make it past. About once a quarter, I like to spray down my tub and shower with Norwex’s Descaler and scrub clean with the Bathroom Scrub Mitt. It removes soap scum, limescale, calcium and rust deposits – without using any harmful chemicals to do it!
The next deep cleaning project I like to check on is removing mold stains. Inevitably, moisture lingers in the bathroom and creates the ideal environment for mold. Once you’ve removed the mold, the stains can be dissolved with the Mold and Mildew Stain Remover. If you really want to get in every groove, the Grout Cleaning Attachment and Utility Brush are amazing at getting in the nooks and crannies.
The last deep cleaning project to cross off your list is dusting your light fixtures. Light fixtures can develop a fuzz when they don’t get TLC. Sure they are out of the way, but you’ll love how they gleam after this job is done. Grab an Envirowand since they are up high and bend the wand to get the most leverage to wipe them clean.
These are jobs when done quarterly go a long way in the everyday feel of your bathroom.
Regular cleaning
Having a scheduled, regular cleaning session for the bathroom is the most beneficial way to keep your bathroom in the spa-zone. When you’re cleaning the traditional way, this time can be cumbersome with all the different sprays, sponges, and buckets in the way. Norwex simplifies your cleaning routine so much. Let’s pair it down!
Norwex’s Bathroom Cleaner is the all-purpose way to get every surface sparkling! Not only does it clean without using any harmful chemicals, but it also descales and eliminates sources of odors with organic salts and citric acid. This multi-purpose spray will work on your vanity, the toilet, tub, shower, and tile floor. Just spray and wipe away with an EnvirCloth or Bathroom Scrub Mitt.
Norwex’s Mop System effortlessly clears up any build up from your floor. I love to use the Tile Mop Pad along with the Bathroom Cleaner to remove the grubby feeling from the floor. Just spray with the Bathroom Cleaner and wipe clean with the Tile Mop Pad. I like to go back over to rinse with the Wet Mop Pad and some squirts of water too.
The toilet is usually the source of most of the gross in the bathroom, so feel free to clean it regularly for your comfort. Norwex’s Cleaner Dispensing Toilet Brush makes it so easy to clean often since the brush also stores and dispenses the Bathroom Cleaner into the bowl. Just squirt a drop and scrub around the toilet. Once you’ve done, the BacLock®* antimicrobial agent in the bristles and base will go to work to inhibit the growth of mold, mildew, and bacteria on the Toilet Brush & Holder.
These tools will make your cleaning routine so slick that you won’t feel psyched out of the task!
Maintain
Once you’ve put in the hard work, don’t let it go to waste! With just a few simple chores, your bathroom will keep up it’s sparkle! Just strategically place these tools and you’ll remember to keep it up!
Place an EnviroCloth and Window Cloth on a hook nearby to wipe up the vanity and mirror after getting ready.
Place the Squeegee in the shower and wipe down the shower door after use to prevent build up.
Go over the floor with the Dry Mop Pad to collect hair and dust.
Not too bad, right?
With a vision to transform your bathroom, I’m sure you’ll have the motivation to follow through! Let me know if you have any other questions!
