The Microfiber Wet Mop Pad is made from 70% recycled material and the equivalent of 2.3 plastic bottles. Norwex is not only conscious of what they produce, but in how the materials they use for their products benefit our environment!

Even though the materials have changed, the way the Wet Pad works has not! The microscopic microfiber fingers still grab everything in its path-dirt, dust, pollen, bacteria, etc. Densely woven, superfine Norwex Microfiber physically removes up to 99% of bacteria from a surface using only water when following proper care and use instructions. Once the bacteria is inside the Wet Pad, the BacLock™ feature goes to work; BacLock™ is an antimicrobial agent solely intended to protect and self-clean the cloth by inhibiting growth of odor-causing bacteria, mold and mildew. Practically speaking, this means you will not need to wash the Wet Pad after every use. Just rinse it under water and hang it up to dry. When the Wet Pad starts to stink, that means the microfiber fingers have reached their limit of what they can absorb and need to be washed. Wash in hot water to help the microfiber fingers expand and release their grip on all the dirt, bacteria, pollen, etc. The Norwex Mop is way less maintenance than the typical chemical solution/bucket-based mop system.
