Norwex skincare refills make it possible to live sustainably and enjoy high-end packaging!
The packaging that a product comes in can say a lot about it. Not just the words, but what kind of product is inside. Packaging is made (in general) to be disposed of, which makes you wonder if the temporary feeling is actually worth cost for the waste it produces. But who doesn’t love the feeling something thoughtfully made?
One of the many reasons I love Norwex’s skincare line is for the innovative, reusable packaging that the product comes in! It has all the feel of a high-end skincare bottles, but so much less waste. Norwex’s skincare formulas are natural and exclusive and I love that the packaging shows that! These bottles or jars are refillable so they can be used again and again. These weighted glass bottles and jars are so sturdy so why not just refill them to extend their use? If you’re wondering what makes these formulas so special, check out this post.
There are two types of refills- pouches and cartridges. The pouch is used for the Cleansing Facial Powder, Vitamin C Serum, and Smoothing Bakuchiol Serum. For these, you just open and pour into the jar or bottle. It’s so simple! The cartridges come out of the glass shell and unscrew from the pump. You then take the new cartridge and screw it into the pump, and replace in the glass shell. The airless pump in the Renewing Eye Cream, Hydrating Moisturizer, and Hydrating Night Cream preserves ingredients and reduces product waste. To just take a minute or less to do the refill can make an impact on our planet!
This type of packaging isn’t mainstream so Norwex has some helpful visuals to see what we mean by “refill,” “pouch,” and “cartridge.” Check out the images below to see what each refill looks like and the graphic explaining how each bottle or jar refill works.
