I can be a bit lazy when it comes to cleaning up my office area. While I love a tidy, clean work area, I’m always SO focused on the work I want to accomplish that I don’t always take the time to actually clean things up. Yet, I also want a clean office desk! What’s funny is that with Norwex, it’s actually SO easy to clean the work area, and you only need three items to get the job done. So, no more excuses! Today is the day that you (and I) will wipe everything down, and start things fresh and clean today!
Go grab your EnviroCloth, Window Cloth, and Dusting Mitt.
You get to see the surfaces of a home office today, because you know us Norwex girls work from home, in our own cozy little nooks! *Girl boss perk*
4 Quick Steps to a Clean Office with Norwex
Step 1:
Start by dusting all of the surfaces with your Dusting Mitt. Your screen, your desk, your filing cabinet, and that dusty windowsill you sit in front of in your home office that is littered with dead leaves from your cute little plant!
If you’ve suddenly felt uber-ambitious, and your window also has a screen, use your dusting mitt to clean your screen off!
Step 2:
Next, get your EnviroCloth slightly damp with water, and wring out well. Wipe away those coffee stains on your desk, your snack crumbs, and random sticky spots:
Step 3:
Wipe down your keyboard, to remove 99% of bacteria from the keys. Densely woven, superfine Norwex Microfiber physically removes up to 99% of bacteria from a surface using only water when following proper care and use instructions. You will want to make sure your EnviroCloth is only lightly damp, NOT wet.
Or, if you’re me, use it to remove the brown finger stains from your white keys:
This photo is slightly embarrassing to me. Eww yuck, right? I really needed to wipe this down!
Step 4:
Next, wipe down your mouse too, ’cause your kids’ dirty little hands have been all over that as well, since you work from home and you are a good mom, and let them play on your computer when you want a nap.
Step 5:
Finally, gently wipe off your computer screen, to get rid of all the fingerprints. Then, polish to a streak free shine with your dry Window Cloth.
Um. And…that’s it! You’re desk is actually clean-clean now. Hooray for a clean office desk! This deserves another cup of coffee. Cheers to a productive day at the office!
How about you geek it up and post a photo of you cleaning your desk to my twitter account @SuzanneRHolt. And if you wanna’ join the clean geek team, just head over to my shop to stock up!

That’s good to know that if you wipe down your keyboard with a norwex cloth that is slightly damp that you could remove almost all the bacteria. I would think that would be a good sign the keyboard is one of the most germ-infested items in your house or office. I’ll have to think about getting one of those so that I could keep things sanitary at my desk.
