Norwex has made the news yet again!
If what I say doesn’t convince you that the Norwex microfiber with water works better than any chemical cleaner, you might just believe microbiology lab coordinator Bridget Fisher.
Norwex Scientific Review
Fisher designed a scientific test in which several dozen sterile petri dishes were contaminated with e-coli bacteria.
Several dishes were treated with a paper towel sprayed with a leading all-purpose cleaner. Other Petri dishes were cleaned with a generic microfiber towel soaked with sterile water. The rest were wiped with the Norwex BacLock™ Microfiber Cloth, also soaked with sterile water.
The petri dishes were then put them in an incubator for 24 hours.

Can you use Norwex cloth on pliable vinyl windows in a lanai
Suzanne Holt says
I don’t see any reason why that would not be okay.
Mandy says
The micro bio lady said the norwex cloth doesn’t kill the bacteria, I was under the impression it did after 24 hrs. ( talking abt the news clip you put up)
Deja says
Hi Mandy, The really important thing to understand about the silver in the Norwex microfiber is that it doesn’t kill the bacteria on your counters or bathtub… silver isn’t left on the surfaces you’ve wiped to disinfect them. What happens is this; the damp Norwex microfiber cloth picks up EVERYTHING on whatever smooth surface you’re wiping, pulling all those nasties into the fibers. That’s when the silver in the cloth goes to work, killing the bacteria that your cloth picked up from your dirty surface – self sanitizing, so to speak.

I love Norwex been using it for years but scientifically what happens as the enviro cloth hangs to dry? When is it sanitized to clean again?
Suzanne Holt says
Hi Brein, you can find more details about the science of Norwex microfiber in this blog post: https://healthyhomecleaning.com/real-truth-about-norwex-microfiber/ (the short answer to your question though, is that the cloth is sanitized within 24 hours, as long as it has been able to adequately dry).

Hi Deja, when you mentioned that “Norwex microfiber cloth picks up EVERYTHING on whatever smooth surface you’re wiping, pulling all those nasties into the fibers”….does this include germs and bacteria on the surfaces too hence the leaving the surface 99% bacteria free?
Suzanne Holt says
Our BacLock microfiber removes up to 99% of bacteria from a surface when following proper use and care. The silver antibacterial fiber has self purification properties. The agent is solely designed to inhibit bacterial odor, mold, and / or mildew growth within the cloth.

I’ve used this product and it is Amazing! I can’t believe that anybody would still be using toxic chemicals to do cleaning when a product like Norwex is available to all!
