A product description can tell you what something is designed to do. My role is to help you understand what happens after the demonstration is over and the product becomes part of a real home.
Through years of using, teaching and troubleshooting Norwex products, I have learned:

- which products are commonly misunderstood,
- where expectations become unrealistic,
- which products overlap, and
- why a product one family loves may not make sense for another.
That experience has taught me to begin with the problem, not the product.
What are you trying to clean? What are you using now? What would make that routine easier? How often will you use the product? What does it replace? Is it worth the investment for your home?
A useful recommendation has to fit both the job and the person doing it.
Why Norwex Fits the Way I Teach a Healthier Home
A healthy home is not a perfect home. It is a home where the people who live there are supported by better choices, simpler routines, fewer unnecessary cleaning products and relationships that matter.
Norwex offers families a practical place to begin.
For many routine cleaning jobs, that beginning can be as simple as replacing a disposable product or traditional cleaning spray with reusable microfiber and water. You do not need to empty every cabinet, change everything at once or build a large Norwex collection.
Start with one sustainable change. Learn how to use it well. Let that success build your confidence. Then decide whether another change would make sense.
Norwex is my product focus because it is the product system I know, use, teach and recommend. It is where my experience lives.
Why I Start With Microfiber and Water
For routine cleaning, I begin with microfiber and water.
Norwex microfiber uses densely woven, superfine fibers to lift, trap and remove material from a surface. Certain Norwex microfiber products can physically remove up to 99% of bacteria from a surface using only water when the proper care and use instructions are followed.
That is a physical-removal claim. It is not a disinfecting claim.
BacLock®, when included in a Norwex product, protects the product by inhibiting the growth of odor-causing bacteria, mold and mildew within the product. It does not disinfect the surface or protect people from disease-causing pathogens.
Those distinctions matter to me. I want you to understand what a product can do without turning a qualified performance claim into something larger than it is.
Microfiber and water are also not the right answer for every cleaning job. Grease, mineral buildup, laundry, heavily soiled surfaces and other specialized needs may require a targeted product or a different cleaning method. When water alone is not the right tool, I will tell you that too.
Every Product Has to Earn Its Place
One of the biggest misconceptions about Norwex is that every product belongs in every home.
I do not believe that.
Before I recommend a product, I ask:
- Does it solve a real problem?
- Will this person actually use it?
- Does it make the job easier?
- Does it replace something disposable, inefficient or unnecessarily complicated?
- Is it worth the cost for this household?
- Is it realistic to use and care for properly?
- What are its limits?
- Would I confidently recommend it to my own family?
A product can work exactly as intended and still be the wrong purchase for a particular person. Something used once a year may not provide the same value as a product used every day.

Why I Focus on One Product System
People sometimes ask why I do not review every cleaning brand on the market.
I chose depth instead of breadth.
I would rather understand one product system extremely well than offer shallow opinions about dozens of brands I have used only occasionally.
That does not mean Norwex is the only company making useful products. It also does not mean you should replace a product you already use and love simply because it comes from another company.
It means I have spent years using, comparing, teaching and troubleshooting Norwex. That experience allows me to answer the questions that matter after you bring a product home:
- Which product should you buy first?
- Which products overlap?
- Which products can wait?
- Which products are worth the investment?
- Which product is best for a particular surface or problem?
- How do you use and care for it correctly?
- What should you do when it is not working as expected?
Those answers are more useful than a catalog description.
What Honest Product Guidance Looks Like
Trust is built by being clear about both the benefits and the limits.
I will tell you when a product is broadly useful and when it solves only a specialized problem. I will tell you when a less expensive option makes more sense, when two products overlap or when something you already own can do the job.
I will also tell you when proper care is part of the product’s performance. A microfiber cloth overloaded with detergent or washed with fabric softener may not work as expected. That does not automatically mean the cloth failed. It means how a product is used and cared for matters.
I will never tell you:
- that every Norwex product belongs in every home,
- that one cloth solves every cleaning problem,
- that Norwex microfiber disinfects a surface,
- that expensive automatically means better,
- that Norwex is the only company making useful cleaning products,
- that you need to replace everything at once, or
- that you need a large Norwex collection to clean your home well.
Sometimes the best recommendation is to buy less.
Why Norwex Continues to Earn My Recommendation
Norwex continues to earn my recommendation because many of its products make routine cleaning simpler and easier to maintain.
Microfiber and water can handle many everyday cleaning jobs. Reusable cloths, mop pads, counter cloths and other tools can reduce dependence on paper towels, disposable wipes and single-use cleaning products.
Many Norwex cleaning formulas are concentrated, so only a small amount may be needed when they are mixed and used as directed. Targeted products are available for jobs that microfiber and water do not handle well.
Most importantly, the products support the kind of healthier-home routine I teach: practical, repeatable and built one thoughtful choice at a time.
That does not make every Norwex product necessary or perfect. It explains why the products continue to earn a place in my recommendations.
