A Norwex Shopping List for Beginners: How to Get Started

This is a post for the Norwex Newbies. You’ve just discovered Norwex, and you love everything you’ve seen, but you’re completely overwhelmed. WHERE in the world should you start? I understand: there’s so many awesome products to choose from! I meet newbies like you all the time. Your wish list is long, you know you can’t possibly get it all now, so you have to choose something, but WHAT?!?!

I’m highlighting the products that are the BEST for beginning with Norwex in this shopping list. These products will help you begin to turn your home into a Safe Haven, and will also make cleaning easier and faster for you. The beauty of the products in this list is that they will also give you the best bang for your buck. You’ll be eliminating a lot of the monthly spending you have to do on cleaning supplies, while purchasing products that will last you a long time.

1. EnviroCloth – you need this cloth because it’s the ‘everything’ cloth. Get it damp with just water, and it will remove 99% of everything from the surface. It cleans all the things, so it’s the #1 must have.

2. Window Cloth – you want all the shiny things in your home to be streak free. And this cloth does that. You’ll use this to polish surfaces like windows, mirrors, stainless steel appliance, and screens. You’ll never go back to your old window cleaner again with this cloth in your life! There’s so many items that need polishing, and you’ll use it almost as much as your EnviroCloth, so it’s #2 for that reason.

3. Dusting Mitt – life is just easy with this thing. It’ll use a static charge to attract dust and hair to the fluffy fibers of this cloth. You can dust surfaces, trinkets, frames, ledges, stairs, and screens with it. Enter easy into your life! Since dust is everywhere all the time, you’ll absolutely love this thing!

4. Large Mop System– don’t get me started talking about dirty floors. Gah! They need to be cleaned so often. This mop makes that quick and easy. And, it’s the complete system. So you can grab the dust and hair with the dry mop pad, then do a quick clean of the floor with just water using the wet mop pad. When you’re done, rinse and hang to dry. If you floors were atrociously dirty, throw in the wash and the dryer!

5. Cleaning Paste – This is elbow grease in a jar. It’s for the tough jobs. I love how little you need, because it means your jar lasts you so long! When I’m in doubt, I grab the paste. And so will you!

6. Descaler – this makes shower cleaning almost fun! This works away at the soap scum, hard water, limescale, rust and calcium that coats your tub tiles, glass shower doors, shiny faucet handles, etc. It just makes cleaning the shower so easy. And it’s not a harsh, toxic cleaner that requires opening the windows. Nor does it require you to scrub and scrub and scrub!

7. Kitchen Cloth – I just love my kitchen cloth. It’s so handy to have in the kitchen. It removes 99% of everything from kitchen surfaces using just water. It contains BacLock, so it’s working in between uses to self-purify (Read: de-stink). And it comes in all the cute colors you can imagine! I can’t imagine life without these fantastic cloths in my kitchen!

8. Dish Cloth – This is not to be confused with the kitchen cloth. This is made for washing dishes, not wiping counters {unless it’s flour, and then it’s the bomb!} This is hands down the best dish cloth I’ve ever used for washing my dishes. Better than any sponge, too. So many of my customers love this little gem, so I had to make sure it was on your list!

9. Wool Dryer Balls – These are a huge hit for people! You can eliminate toxic dryer sheets from your laundry routine when you switch to these. They’ll reduce static, and save your money and time as they help your clothes dry faster. Plus, you can add essential oils to them to add a lovely, natural scent of your choosing to your laundry!

10. Body Pack – No one can walk away from Norwex without switching to these face cloths. They are soft, yet exfoliating, and only need water. You don’t have to launder as often, since they self-purify in-between uses. AND – they’ll take your makeup off with just water. There’s so much to love! Also great for sticky hands and faces in the kitchen (and can be rinsed and used multiple days before laundering)!

10 items may be too many items to get all at once.
