Who dreads cleaning the tub and shower? Me. I do. And I bet you do too. I put it off for as long as I can because it feels time-consuming and awkward. So when Norwex released the Tub and Tile Cleaning System, I was intrigued. It looked like it could make the job easier, maybe even enjoyable?! (Crazy, I know.)
I ordered it… and then let it sit in the cupboard. For months. The tub got a ring, the shower doors fogged up, and finally, I decided enough was enough.
Friends—I’m in love. I actually had fun cleaning my shower walls (highly recommend blasting your favorite playlist while you do it). The system eliminated all the awkward bending and reaching. Scrubbing the tiles felt faster and required way less effort. Honestly, it was a “Praise the Lord” kind of moment.
In this post, I’ll break down what this tool is, how it works, and why you might want one. Plus, I’ll share some clever ways to use it beyond the bathroom.

Who’s It For?
This system is great for anyone, but especially:
- People with joint pain or arthritis
- Anyone who struggles to bend or kneel
- Self-proclaimed cleaning slackers like me
How to Use It
On Textured Surfaces (e.g. textured tile)
- Slide the bristle brush onto the attachment joint.
- Connect to either handle type.
- Spray with your cleaner of choice (I love Norwex Bathroom Cleaner).
- Scrub the surface.
- Rinse surface.
- Rinse the attachment, shake off excess water, and air-dry.

Note: Test first in an inconspicuous area. The bristles are very firm and can scratch some surfaces.
On Smooth Surfaces
- Wet the microfiber pad and wring it out.
- Press it onto the Velcro attachment.
- Connect to your chosen handle.
- Spray cleaner (Bathroom Cleaner or Descaler are my go-tos).
- Scrub, then rinse the surface.
- Remove the pad from the bottom corner, rinse, and hang to dry (or launder if needed).
- Shake off excess water from the attachment, then air-dry.

What Others Are Saying
“The bristle brush is the only tool that gets the textured floor of my walk-in shower clean!” – Meg Lyons
“I can easily scrub the floor without getting on my hands and knees.” – Jeanna Gill
“I have severe arthritis in my hips, spine, and knees. These attachments feel like they were made just for people like me.” – Saralynn Suto
Where to Use It
Great for:
- Tubs
- Glass shower doors
- Tiled shower walls
- Bathroom floors
But don’t stop there! This tool is amazing outside the bathroom too.
Outdoor Ideas:
- Car mats: Attach the bristle brush to the telescopic handle, grab a bucket of water and soap (or a bit of Ultra Power Plus Laundry Detergent), and scrub away.

- Vinyl siding: Use the same setup to clean siding with ease.
- High windows: Slide the tag of a Norwex Window Cloth over the attachment to polish windows you’d otherwise need a ladder for.
What I Don’t Love
- While the scrub pad attachment is shaped to reach corners, it doesn’t always get into tight spots. I remove the pad and use it by hand like a mini mitt, which works, but requires bending.
- The bristles are very firm, which limits where you can use them. They’re great for heavy-duty textured surfaces, but can easily scratch smooth or delicate ones. I wish they had a little more flexibility for broader use.
My Final Thoughts
This system genuinely made the dreaded job of cleaning my shower walls and tub faster and easier. I love that it works with both short and long handles for different tasks.
If the bristle brush were a little more versatile, I’d give it 5 stars. As it stands, I give the whole system a solid 4 out of 5.
