The Norwex Bathroom Scrub Mitt is one of my all-time favorite cleaning tools. And it works all over the house, not just in the bathroom!
The Norwex Bathroom Scrub Mitt is a hybrid of the Norwex Dusting Mitt and the Norwex Kitchen Scrub Cloth, in the form of a mitt – a PERFECT solution for quick and efficient cleaning.
The Scrubby Side
This side is great for removing stuck-on soap scum, hard water build-up (especially great with the Norwex Descaler), and general bathroom grungies. Although it feels like it might leave scratches, it won’t – it is completely safe for all smooth surfaces.
The Microfiber Side
When you’re done cleaning all the tough stuff off, you just flip the mitt, and the reverse side (a plush microfiber weave with an absorbant sponge lining) will clean your surfaces to a shine! And just like the Norwex Enviro Cloth, the microfiber on the Mitt has BacLock (embedded silver) to help eliminate bacteria growth within the microfiber.
Of course, all of this cleaning can be done with just water, but depending on your cleaning needs, you can pair it with the Norwex Descaler, the Bathroom Cleaner, or the Norwex Cleaning Paste.
How to Use the Bathroom Scrub Mitt
When you clean your tub and shower, use it sopping wet at first – for both the scrub side and the soft side. Then, rinse and wring out the mitt and wipe over all the surfaces again with the damp, soft side. This removes all the excess water so your tub and shower will dry without watermarks or streaks.
For jobs that require more than just water, spray the surface with Descaler or Bathroom Cleaner, let sit for about 5 minutes, then with a wet Scrub Mitt, scrub with the abrasive side to remove the soap scum/hard water build-up, and rinse with water.
Cleaning paste is also a great companion for the Scrub Mitt! A little cleaning paste goes a long way; just wipe the scrubby side of the mitt over the surface of the paste, then scrub that soap scum away!
Will the Bathroom Scrub Mitt scratch any surfaces?
No! The Bathroom Scrub mitt is abrasive enough for buildup but won’t scratch surfaces!
This nifty mitt is not only for bathrooms.
The Bathroom Scrub Mitt is faster and easier for wiping down light switches, door handles, dirty wall spots, cupboard fronts, etc. – anything that little, sticky, food-covered fingers like to touch! It stays on your hand very well, and doesn’t go all bunchy like the Enviro Cloth does when doing lots of little jobs. The scrubby side comes in handy for getting off dried-on food bits from those light switches and stair railings – gross!
One of my customers wrote to me telling me that the Bathroom Scrub Mitt is also REALLY great for cleaning floors:
I loved using the Bathroom Scrub Mitt for my bathtub, and sink, but loved it even more when I decided to use it to do a quick clean of the bathroom floor, (I didn’t want to go to the trouble of pulling the mop out). It was so easy and incredibly effective. The scrubby side got up all the mystery spots that needed a little more elbow grease, and the plush microfiber side grabbed up all the dirt from the floor. It also made it easy to wash the baseboards and lower parts of the walls. I also appreciated that it didn’t get all bunchy in my hand while I was cleaning….a mitt for washing the floor is a brilliant idea!” (Kerry, Edmonton AB Canada)
This same customer mentioned another great feature about the Bathroom Scrub Mitt – it’s very practical for anyone who suffers with arthritis in their hands because you don’t have to hold it and bend your fingers/joints to use it – just slide you hand in and scrub! Logically then, the Norwex Dusting Mitt would also be an asset for arthritis sufferers!
This Norwex product gets a shining 5 stars in my books!
I’d love to hear what other uses YOU’VE found for your Scrub Mitt! Comment below!

I really love all of my Norwex products. I also, love my consultant, Erica Fleming. I don’t use my bath mitt, a lot, because I get my hand soaking wet!! I don’t think there is a tear in the seam, but my hand gets wet. Any suggestions? I was thinking I need a new one, but I don’t use it much. Thanks for your help!!
Suzanne Holt says
Your hand will always get wet with that because water passes through it.
Sharon says
You said to use this sopping wet in the tub. But would you use a cleaner to remove thick soap scum?
Suzanne Holt says
I often use Cleaning Paste with it to remove soap scum. It works amazing. You can read more about it here: https://healthyhomecleaning.com/cleaning-paste-review/

I am new to Norwex products, so I’m using Google to try to learn how to use all of these great cloths. I have found your website to be the best! Very informative with clear instructions that I’ve been able to easily print out for reference. My married daughter first introduced me to Norwex a few years ago, and now my daughter-in-law has become a consultant. I just hosted a Norwex party in my home two weeks ago, and was amazed at all of the products I was able to get for free, just for hosting and having friends place orders! Thank you for making it easy for me to learn all about Norwex through your website!

Will this “mitt” work on Hard water stains? Have a glass shower doors and have a hard time keeping them clean die to the hard water in my area. I got invited to Norwex party this week just doing a little investigating before i go to see if its worth the money. Thank you for you help 🙂
Suzanne Holt says
Hi Angela! The mitt will certainly help you keep hard water stains from building up in your shower. However, if you already have a buildup, you’ll want to tackle them first, with a product like the Descaler. Then, use the Scrub mitt to regularly wipe down the shower to prevent bad buildup. You may need to pull our the descaler a few times a year if your hardwater is really bad!

Do I need to wear gloves under this mitt if I’m using blue diamond with it?
Crystal Moore says
Angelina, I don’t worry about gloves when using blue diamond cleaner. It is gentle enough for your skin!
Angelina Shlikov says
OK, thanks I’m still on the fence about getting it since I heard it takes forever to dry and I really like using my enviro clothes for the bathroom. It’s not cheap either but than again none of norwex products are 🙂

kimberly says
Do I wash my bath mitt with laundry soap?
Deja says
Yes Kimberly, You need to launder you Norwex Bathroom Scrub Mitt in your washing machine, with hot water and laundry detergent.
Lauren Schoen says
Do you know if the bathroom mitt is still an evirocloth? The website isn’t clear when describing
Deja says
Lauren, the fuzzy side of the Bathroom Scrub Mitt is actually very similar to texture of the Norwex Dusting mitt… it’s more plush than the Enviro Cloth.
Angela says
Hi, I am curious about the bathroom mitt – I was deterred by it because it says it has a sponge inside – just wondering about that because I would think that it would harbor bacteria… please let me know what you think 🙂 Thanks!
Deja says
Angela, the sponge inside is really thin… I almost don’t even notice it. I’ve had my Bathroom Scrub Mitt for 3 years now, and I’ve never had a problem with it smelling bad from bacteria growth. I do recommend laundering it once a week if you’re using it regularly though.
